Oil Rub technique

This is my oil rub piece for illustration media;
the under-drawing:

after rubbing some oil up in there...

after digging some prismacolor in there too, final piece.

i might be a little slow, but i'm just starting to realize how important a good drawing is to EVERY piece of artwork, no matter what media it is. Its ridiculous really...
