just my first and second oil painting ever :) using only burnt sienna, viridian and permalba white. I dont know where the red in the first one came from... from a picture of an old native american chief
ok, so I'm home for thanksgiving and i got access to a camera! so i took pictures of most of my stuff from color class last year and decided to put it all up. So here is my color observation junk: brown undercolor: finished piece complementary undercolor cross hatching lol bozo and shoes in oil pastels landscape in oil pastels yep, its not everything i did, but just some that i kinda like.
Just some ugly drawings from last year, i really like how the cubism one came out though. my favorite^ Ashcan school of art style... that guy is really tall it seems.... random still life with vine charcoal our first project, Russian Construcivism and a crappy "Surrealist" piece.
These are just 2 still-lifes i did for Intro. to Ill. during freshman year. One of them i took pics of during the whole process i was painting it. The other one is just the finished piece, i really hated painting that banana, so when i finished i opened my window and threw it out from the 5th floor... just starting... giving things more form... even more... details and stuff finished! and my other piece with the butt ugly banana ew
just 2 pieces that i did first semester freshman year at Ringling in Communication Design class. I had fun doing these two pieces, specially the water project diptych.
This one was a design project that i did of a Bateleur (a bird). and its probably around 15"X 60" Both kinda meh now that i look back, but then again, thats a good thing.
