When you start on a long journey, trees are trees, water is water, and mountains are mountains. After you have gone some distance, trees are no longer trees, water no longer water, mountains no longer mountains. But after you have travelled a great distance, trees are once again trees, water is once again water, mountains are once again mountains.

Heard that somewhere before, just found it again while surfing the internet. But anyways, I just got back from the trip with my parents. We went to Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Guilin, Xian and Luoyang, so I have LOTS of pictures. I'll be putting them up little by little.
In other news, it's obvious from the look of this blog that drawing and painting haven't been the most ideal media for capturing my time here in China. Photography is much more useful for capturing as much as possible in a limited amount of time. So I've been taking my photography more seriously as another side of my work, and luckly I'll be included in a photography show in May.
